Combeferre is usually sensible about this kind of thing; not one to try to hide the fact that he doesn’t feel well or stubbornly deny that he needs medicine. And indeed, Courfeyrac has seen him take Advil at least twice since he had the surgery, and the hospital had sent h home with a few doses of something stronger he could take if he needed it. So when Combeferre says the incision doesn’t hurt much, Courfeyrac is inclined to take him at his word.
