alfie was absolutely rapturous. the solemnity of the song, the gravity of it all was felt on every note. he held the audience even through the last note, all of us pushing our applause as late as we could to savor it and the entire moment.
alfie was a true victory on the les mis broadway stage. here’s to an amazing run.
