Little Cosette having bad dreams and Valjean doing a big show of checking under the bed and in all of the wardrobes so she knows she’s safe.
Valjean having nightmares about his time in prison and waking up in a cold sweat to find nine-year-old Cosette opening the wardrobes for him to show him that it’s okay.
At Eternity’s Gate~A reinterpretation of the original Van Gogh, depicting the sorrow of Jean Valjean as he grieves over the loss of his daughter Cosette.
I can’t tell you how much I sobbed over this part in 10th grade. This was an art piece created to show my students how other artists create works inspired by the creativity of other artists. Here I combined my love for Van Gogh with Hugo.
Sorry for the horrible quality.
Now I can die in peace
for now my life is blessed.
