Thank you so much for this, I think I really needed to hear it this week. ^^“ also I think I might have forgotten to say this in my pity party but yay for starting teaching!! Congrats!!

*hugs*  You’re welcome!  I’m glad I was able to help.  ^_^

And thanks!  I’M SO EXCITED.  IT’S THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW AND I HAVEN’T TAUGHT THIS CLASS IN TWO YEARS AND I HAVE SO MANY NEW IDEAS AND I’M SO EXCITED.  XD

“@rawrded replied to your post “It’s that time again…” Oh man, I’m…”

I’m hoping I’ll eventually get there! Its just that… All my friends my age are either graduating soon or have graduated and here I am without a school, a job, or a degree. :<

*hugs*  Oh, that’s rough.  😦  I hate feeling like my friends are moving on to other things without me.  (I’ve felt like that a lot over the past decade or so with friends getting engaged/married/having kids, especially because I’m NEVER going to move on to those life stages, you know?)  BUT, I firmly believe that it’s never too late to pursue the things that you want to do.  I mean, teaching is a second career for me.  I didn’t even start pursuing it until I was in my 30s.  And I had friends in my vet school class who were in their 50s.  So, basically, it’s never too late.  ^_^

*hugs*  I’m glad the solo went better tonight!  Good luck with the assignments tomorrow. ❤

Thanks!  *hugs*  Here’s hoping this thing doesn’t eat me alive.  😛

as
someone who has been on meds… they really do work, don’t be afraid!!!
good luck with everything, break a leg for the concert. What’re you
singing if you don’t mind me asking?

This is what people
keep telling me.  *sigh*  But it’s this deep-seated, primal, irrational
fear based on things that have happened to me when friends went on
meds.  I’ve seen meds do wonderful things for people… but I’ve also
seen them turn friends into the kind of people who would stab you in the
back and turn your entire class of 112 people against you.  So.
*shrugs*  Baby steps, and I guess we’ll see?

And, thank you!  And, no, I don’t mind you asking, at all.  ^_^  The June concert is always our concert to do Broadway/pop type stuff.  This concert is all Disney music (+ an Aida medley, which is still nominally Disney, I suppose ^_~, and is also the medley I have my solo in ^_^).  We’re doing some newer stuff, like Let It Go (yes, I give everyone permission to roll their eyes; I’m right there with you :P), and older classics like When You Wish Upon a Star and A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.  It’s a really fun set of music.  ^_^  I’m excited to sing it!

d’you mind if I ask for a photo? >< cause it sounds cool! 😀

Not at all!  ^_^  I’m always happy to share pictures of these things!  ^_^

Here’s the journal, before it was all packaged and ready to be shipped.  And I’d love to include the picture of it packaged, but apparently my Dropbox is being a butthead and I can’t get the picture to upload so I can attach it.  😛  If you want to see it, let me know and I’ll try again later.  ^_^

ETA: Ah!  Just got it working.  ^_^

MY VERY FIRST ETSY SALE TO SOMEONE I DON’T KNOW!  XD  STILL REALLY EXCITED.  XD

congrats!!

Thanks!  (And to everyone else who liked the post!  ^_^)

I just printed the shipping labels and shipping pages and packed it in its little padded envelope and it is all ready to go and just needs to be brought to the post office and sent on its merry way and IT IS STILL VERY EXCITING.  XD

(Especially because that listing hasn’t even been up very long?  I mean… what’s it been?  A week?  *checks*  OK, 2 ½ weeks.  But STILL.  Compared to the coptic stitch journals that have been unsold for more than 6 months, that’s hella fast!  :D)
